Authentic vintage 1943 Illinois old fiberboard automobile license plate with cream lettering on a green background featuring the numbers 425 - 869
1943 license plates from Illionis were manufactured on soybean-based fiberboard due to metal conservation for World War II. Plates continued to be manufactured in this manner until 1948.
This license plate has been used hard as its condition reflects. The stories it could tell.
